Ceremonies for Life

Ceremonies are among the most significant and memorable shared events in our lives and remind us that we are truly human and deeply spiritual. As pastors, leaders, and chaplains, we are often invited into people’s most sacred ceremonies and sometimes asked to lead them.

This interactive PD is an opportunity to enhance your understanding of funerals, weddings and other ceremonies and give you some practical tools to lead with competence and kindness. We’ll also look at how we can play a significant role in helping people have the ceremony they want, without compromising our own beliefs.

11am-1pm,7th May 2026
This Special OPEN PD Workshop is open to anyone.
Cost is $40 for CA Members and $120 for Non-members.

Presented by Ken & Mandy Fischer

Ken and Mandy Fischer have been Pastors with ACC for more than 30 years and both hold a Graduate Diploma in Counselling.  In addition to pastoring, they have worked in the funeral industry for the past 18 years.  They believe the two roles work together beautifully!
