SA Regional Chaplains

Our Network is supported by a fantastic group of Regional Chaplains located in each of the designated regions in SA Our Regional Chaplains are all active in Chaplaincy ministry and they are there to provide face to face support and encouragement to each of our Network Members.

If you haven’t been in contact with your Regional Chaplain in recent times, why not send them a quick email and connect!

They would love to hear from you; to join with you in celebrating the joys of chaplaincy ministry as well as providing any support needed.

State Director - SA

jeff.marshall@chaplaincyaustralia.com

Jeff has for the past twenty-five years been involved in serving his community through things like youth ministry, chaplaincy and currently the Pastor of a local church. Jeff’s passion is spreading the gospel and on occasion he uses words but most of the time he is empowering people in the local church to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the local community.

One of his key messages he operates by which he took from John Maxwell is, ‘people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!’. Jeff’s vision is to see Chaplaincy in South Australia equip individuals through the local church to impact every sector within their local communities that we care!

Kelly Nairn

Kelly Nairn

SA Regional Leader - Barossa Valley

I have always had a desire to help people in their need.
I am keen to see greater community awareness on how Chaplains are making a difference in their local community and that they are receiving the support they need to continue their good work. As Mathew 25:35-40 describes no one is left out, and that everyone should experience what Jesus is like through us.
I love serving the Barossa community through my local church. Through chaplaincy I can continue to encourage other chaplains as a Regional Leader.

Lorraine Croker

Lorraine Croker

Southern Adelaide Regional Leader

Lorraine has been living in South Australia for 8 years during which time she has been a part of Edge Church Reynella Campus.

Prior to moving to South Australia, she lived in North Queensland where she attended Mackay Christian Family for over 25 years. She was involved in many aspects of ministry over that time including leading small groups, ladies and children’s ministry activities, prayer, and leading intercessory prayer teams.

In 2013 as part of her Chaplaincy role she was deployed to a regional area of Queensland in response to floods, where she worked alongside government organisations and local churches within an evacuation centre.  She was Regional Chaplaincy leader in Queensland Whitsunday Region for two years, 2014-2016.

She has been working in paid chaplaincy roles in the Aged Care sector for 9 years, both in Queensland and South Australia. These roles have given her experience within an Organisation working alongside other professional disciplines, families, staff, and volunteers, providing wellbeing support and spiritual care.

Lorraine is passionate about raising the awareness of Chaplaincy within the community and supporting others to grow and develop skills in this area.
