Ian Duncum

Dr Ian Duncum is an experienced pastor, consultant, trainer/adjunct lecturer, author and mentor who creates a safe,
reflective space for Christian leaders to grow. Drawing on over 20 years in local church leadership, 160+ church and
non‐profit consultancies, and extensive work in research and training, he helps pastors, chaplains, planters, multisite
leaders and ministry/denominational leaders clarify vision & strategy, navigate tensions, and build sustainable patterns
of life and ministry. Ian’s vision is to grow healthy missional pastors, churches and denominations through pastoral
supervision/mentoring, church consultancy, training, and writing. Ian was formerly the General Manager/Consultant of
AAOS and is currently engaged with Regent College, Arrow Leadership and Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Ian
has particular expertise in training church consultants, leadership training, church revitalisation and conflict. Ian is an
accredited mentor working across multiple denominations and chaplaincy networks, known for combining warm
pastoral care with clear, practical insight.
