Kathy Armour

Recognised Supervisor

Kathy welcomes those who work in the helping professions to engage in reflective practice for the well-being and growth of themselves and ultimately for those they serve. Kathy aims to provide a warm and supportive supervision space both in person and online. She is compassionate and willing to continue to learn and grow herself in order to support each person that she supervises. Kathy’s own Christian faith enables her to understand the importance of including spirituality in the reflective process by observing it and recognising the meaning it brings to our work.

Kathy has had 24 years of experience in the helping professions including education, children/family ministry in Christian churches and has worked as a chaplain in both the hospital and school environments. Much of this work has been in multicultural settings. Kathy has also had experience going to her own supervision over those years and continues to experience the many benefits herself. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Education (primary), Bachelor of Theology, a CPE unit and a Grad Cert in Supervision for the Helping Professions.
