Keira Johnston

Supervision Intern

After studying Psychology at Monash University, I spent 25 years in campus ministry, fostering unity among Christian groups and supporting justice-focused initiatives across faiths.

My diverse experience includes working with the Salvation Army’s Adult Services, serving with Operation Mobilisation’s Doulos ship, leading cross-cultural missions, and living three months in the Philippines with my husband and four children.

Married for 21 years, 17 of those as church pastors, we planted a multicultural church in a Pub near Melbourne University. Moved by research showing Supervision reduces burnout by 80% and enhances ministry resilience by 68%, I completed my training at Ridley College.

With a passion for creating spaces where leaders thrive spiritually, emotionally, and relationally, I see myself as a detective uncovering wisdom in stories. Drawing on my varied life experiences, creative inclinations, and psychology-informed modalities, I am excited to see how pastoral supervision will nurture and sustain those who care for others.
