I have been working in the profession for over 30 years and through my experiences of working in Asia for 10 years (Tokyo, Hong Kong) and serving as President of Christian Counselors. I have paid a lot of attention to the skills on how to integrate my many counselling skills with my spirituality.
I have been trained in a few models, Couples Therapy, Solution Focused, Emotionally Focused and Narrative Therapy, which have given me many ways of listening to the client’s story
The therapy model that has helped me most has been that of Focusing which gives us ways of listening to the body and to the ‘still small voice’ within.
