Sarah Piper

Supervision Intern

Sarah is an Associate member of AAOS based in Sydney. As an experienced psychologist in the mental health field for the past 15yrs she particularly enjoys the resilience/well-being space with those engaged in ministry and has worked with a wide range of clients located both near and abroad. With a prior background in humanitarian aid work, community engagement in ministry, school counselling, raising 4 children both in Sydney and overseas, she brings a variety of work and life experiences that complement her professional skills.

As a supervisor she is keen to walk alongside those engaged in pastoral work who are willing to pause from their day-to-day challenges and reflect on what they do. She ably facilitates the reflection process with both warmth and curiosity providing a safe space to step back and explore feelings and impacts. Her hope is to see people understand and accept themselves in ways that align with their faith and values; enabling authenticity of self and genuine connections with all they seek to serve.
