Valerie is an experienced Professional/Pastoral supervisor who is an accredited member of the Australasian Association of Supervisors (AAOS) and the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Supervision through St Marks Theological College in Canberra.
Valerie has over 20 years’ experience in counselling, therapy, leadership and training across church, community and mental health sectors. She specialises in providing supervision to supervisors, clergy, chaplains, pastors, mental health workers, counsellors and allied health professionals. Valerie holds the belief that quality supervision has the capacity to encourage growth and transformational learning through collaborative processes of support, exploration and reflection.
Valerie offers Clinical and Pastoral supervision in the Newcastle area (Charlestown) face to face, by phone or on-line nationally. She also provides group supervision.
